Rugged RC crawler setup in a workshop garage basecamp with tools and industrial lighting

Rc Adventure Zone · Garage Basecamp

Our Mission

Builtfortheruggedtrailsandheavycrawling.

Rc Adventure Zone was founded to bring grit and capability to the RC crawler community. We provide the gear, the knowledge, and the basecamp for your next off-road adventure.

Our Journey

Years of grit and gear.

Building the adventure.

  1. 2018

    The first crawler build.

    Humble beginnings.

Started in a small garage with a single modified chassis. The goal was simple: build something that could handle the local rock garden without breaking a sweat.

  2. 2019

    First community meet.

Organized the first local RC crawler gathering. Twenty enthusiasts showed up, proving that the passion for scale crawling was alive and well in our region.

  3. 2020

    Dozer project launch.

Expanded into scale earth-moving equipment. The first RC dozer build brought a new level of realism to our trail construction projects.

  4. 2021

    Basecamp garage established.

Transformed the workshop into a dedicated RC Adventure Zone hub. A space for testing, tuning, and sharing technical knowledge with the community.

  5. 2022

    Trail expansion initiative.

Partnered with local hobbyists to build a permanent, rugged crawler course. Designed to challenge even the most capable rigs.

  6. 2023

    Technical workshop series.

Launched a series of deep-dive tutorials on crawler suspension geometry and dozer hydraulics. Knowledge sharing became a core pillar of the zone.

  7. 2024

    National reach.

Our online community grew to include builders from across the country. The shared passion for scale realism continues to drive every project.

  8. 2025

    The adventure continues.

    Full throttle.

Currently developing a new fleet of heavy-duty crawlers and refining our trail-building techniques. Still pushing the limits of scale performance.

LEAD MECHANIC

Jaxson Miller

I treat every crawler like it's heading into a real mountain pass. It’s not just about the torque; it’s about the precision of the build and the grit to handle the toughest terrain.

Sarah Vance, Terrain Designer, mapping out a new RC crawler course
TERRAIN DESIGNER

Sarah Vance

Building a course is about finding the natural flow of the earth. I look for the steepest angles and the loose rock, creating a challenge that tests both the machine and the driver.

We’re building a community, not just a hobby site. Every event we host is designed to bring the RC crawler and dozer community together for a day of serious, high-stakes fun.
